Installation: Selecting the protection

Select the protection you want to install. The options available are:

• Antivirus protection: Protects you against all threats including spyware.

Note: This protection will be installed by default and cannot be excluded from the installation.

• Firewall protection: Neutralizes network viruses and prevents possible intrusions or attacks by hackers trying to enter your computer through the Internet.  

• Identity protection: Protects your confidential data (passwords, credit card numbers, etc.) from the increasing amount of fraud taking place on the Internet.

• Anti-spam filter: Protects you against junk mail, saving time and resources.

• Web content control: If your computer is used by other people, you can put restrictions on the content they can access on the Internet. If your computer will not be used by other people, or you don't want to restrict access to the Internet, it is not necessary to install this protection.

• Backup copies: This offers you a simple way of making backup copies of your documents and files.

Note: The protection selected by default will depend on your computerÆs RAM. Nevertheless, you can select the protection you want to install provided your computer meets the minimum RAM requirements.
